Wednesday again already?! :D Oh it just builds the anticipation for the weekend. I feel like I'm living for the weekend these days; well, aren't we all? :) Anyways, we're finally in the month of August and although it is my favorite month because I just so happen to be born in it. I've been hit with the reality that I'm turning 25 this month. I must say, I am usually pretty excited when my birthday rolls around, but now not so much these days. Not because I am turning a year older though (ok, maybe it is ) but because I feel like I still have so much to accomplish in life and the seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years just keep going and it feels that every year they keep diminishing even faster. I cannot be the only one that feels like this, right? Like can someone stop the clock or what? It feels like only yesterday that I walked into my bedroom at 2 am from my "wild" 21st birthday party (those details will remain locked up & if you were there, then you know what I'm talking about LOL) but now in less than 2 weeks I'll be twenty-five. It's bittersweet really, but nonetheless, I am thankful and excited that I've come this far in life and I am here now to share all my thought with you all. I honestly don't know what I was doing before I started this blog; I can't picture my life without it now and I hope you will be sticking around for every little piece I share..

So with this I leave you with a couple of insights that have always worked for me and continue to do so.....

1. Write down everything. I mean everything that you wish to achieve in life. Doodle them, draw pictures, daydream about them. Say it, scream it! Believe me, you'll be surprised when you cross out the last one from your list and make a new one.

2. If you want something, go ahead and grab it. It's not going to magically fall out of the sky and have angels to lead the way; you're going to have to work at it every single day.

3. Carve your own path. There's not a single person that have reached where they are today the same way. Believe in yourself and trust the process.

4. Learn to love to dance in the rain...there will be moments of disappointment but you will only grow from those experiences. Its ok, if you didn't get accepted to your first choice dream school or that job you applied to, chances are, something even better is waiting for you.

5. Last but not least, you go ahead and EAT THAT PIZZA! LOL What I mean by that is do not feel guilty after you do something when you fully enjoyed it in the first place. Life is too short and there are still many flavors of pizza that you still haven't tried. (Can you tell I enjoy pizza?)...

thanks for reading! :)

  1. Happy birth month. Great ideas. I love writing down your goals, it helps us stay focused and of course leaning to dance in the rain is always a great idea. You look great.
