Life is the greatest show on Earth...

Fate works in mysterious ways. You will never know who you'll get to meet along the way; especially people that could inspire and move you in ways that you've never imagined. Do you guys believe in coincidence? Or do you think everything in some way is already planned for us? I feel that from a couple of experiences that I've had in life that I definitely believe in fate. Things can and will happen to you for a reason. However, things do happen when you're in full control of your life and you make things happen ! That's why I am so passionate and I truly believe that you have to live in the moment, and honestly to just follow your heart. Life is incredibly short, so we have to seize every opportunity that comes our way with everything that we have. I've been looking at everything with a different perspective now a days...and life is what you make it! So live the life that you want to live.

Ok, so these past couple of days, I've been majorly transitioning into Spring time, and there's nothing I LOVE more then this floral top during this time !!! I paired it with these unexpected pink denim shorts. I think that it gives the outfit more life then just boring blue denim shorts lol :) The best part about this outfit are the sandals; they are one of my favorites..and I am definitely going to be wearing them more often :)

Thanks for reading! stay tuned for more light and airy outfits for the Springtime...I am so excited to share them this upcoming month ! :) Details at the end ! <3

A CASUAL Moment

Monday, February 16, 2015

Hi everyone :)! Happy Monday..hope everyone had a great weekend and a Happy Valentines day; I know I did! So! Did you guys get to watch 50 shades of Grey? Tell me your thoughts on it? Was it what you expected? ;) lol I thought it was pretty good, but as always the book is always better...Anyways, this has to be one of my  favorite looks of this year so far. I finally found a good pair of distressed boyfriend jeans, and I am so happy with them. Ever since I purchased them, I have been wearing them none stop haha ;) They have such a great fit, and the ripped/distressed part just give them something a little extra. I LOVE the look of boyfriend jeans with a nice pair of heels. I chose these simple heels with one strap so it wouldn't look too overwhelming paired with jeans. Also, can we just talk about this Coasta Berre snake print clutch for a minute! I am absolutely obsessed with it. It truly is a good piece to have in your closet and it adds some pizazz to any outfit. And...of course, I love this simple Paris tee shirt. I feel like I take Paris with me everywhere...it's part of me...and I have faith I will be visiting very soon <3

Thank you so much for reading :) All outfit details are at the end of the post.

I STAY laughing; so difficult to be serious...(;

Olive Skirt

Monday, February 9, 2015

Happy Monday everyone ! :)
So I am all about classic and simple outfits, especially a long and sleek skirt like this one ! It could easily be worn with some peep-toe pumps; but I chose the comfortable route and went with sandals. I love this earthy olive green color of it; I think it paired perfectly with this white cropped top. Oh, I've also been wearing this tote bag NONE stop! It is such a nice size and super light weight..everyone needs this bag ;) loll. And the best part that is that it's on everyone's price point. Also, I wore this out last weekend on super bowl Sunday to catch the game at my boyfriend's house! Needless to say that it has become one of my favorite skirts that I currently own ;)

All details are at the end of the post..trying something new haha ;)
thanks for reading! <3

KUWE: Lipstick 101

Lippie 101
Hi !
So I wanted to share my view about this because it has been bouncing around in my head for a couple of days. How long is too long of the ownership of a lip product? If you guys did not know, lipsticks and lipglosses have an expiration date sometime! Most of the time, the texture isn't the same or the nice scent they once had is non-existant; yeah that's your cue to toss them. In my case, sometimes its difficult to get rid of things. Especially if it came in limited edition packaging or I think to myself "I'll use it eventually" and never do LOL...I know we all go through this at least once in our life (if you haven't noticed by now when reading my posts, I tend to be a bit dramatic ;) Anyways, as I write this post, I am sitting here contemplating and staring at my little container full of lip products and realizing nearly half of them are barely even used. Despite of this reality, I keep purchasing more and more (don't we all..?) .

So here are five tips for you my friend
if you're having a hard time parting ways with them ;)

1. Check your lip product stash monthly,
and keep in mind the ones that you use the most often.

2. Check the bottom of the lipstick/lipgloss for a number code of some sort (typically this goes for MAC lipsticks and glosses) For instance, "A73". The number seven stands for the month it was made in (July) and the three stands for the last number of the year (2013). *see photo below*

3. If they seem dry ( and I am not talking about matte)...get rid of it!
If (lip glosses) have a slight odor to them
and seem too sticky..get rid of it!

4. Keep the ones you tend to use the most somewhere visible,
and when you get bored... switch them out with other ones...

5. Keep them organized! That way you know what you have and
you'll rediscover shades you forgot you had instead of buying more!

Lifespans (approximately):

Lipstick : 2 years
Lipgloss : 1 year

Other ones that are good to know:

Mascara : 2-3 months (opened)
Foundation : 2 years
Concealer : 1 year
Nail Polish : 1-2 years
(I failed on this one lol)

Thanks for reading!
I hope this was helpful :)

SIMPLICITY

Monday, February 2, 2015

Hi there !
So let's begin by saying that this year has just been flying on by already! I mean we are already in February for crying out loud; Oh..so did you guys catch the super bowl yesterday? I mean I barely watched the actual game but the commercials and the half-time show were fun to watch. If you ask me, Katy Perry did alright; but I just kept thinking about when Beyonce performed LOL...no one can top the Queen. Anyways, since we are on the subject of time, you know what that means...Valentine's Day is around the corner. I'm honestly not one to make a big deal out of it but its always fun to dress up and share with you guys. Whether your going to spend time with a significant other, family, friends, or just going out with your girls to watch 50 shades of Grey (it's out in 12 days, but who's counting? LOL), you still want to look fabulous!

I am in love with this "shirt" dress as I've always thought they look classic and flattering on any body type because of the basic silhouette that it has. I think this one is extra special because it has the cargo pockets on both sides, which gives the dress a more structured feel to it; as well as, this dark burgundy color will never go out of style, and can easily be transitioned into your Spring and Summer wardrobe. Also, I know I usually go all out in the jewelry department (I love me a good statement necklace), but for this one I wanted to tone it down so I just went with some gold chandelier earrings and my hair up in a bun. I'd like to think that less is always more, don't you agree?
