New Leather + New Year's Eve dreams

Wednesday, December 31, 2014

Hello there..and HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE! :)
We are on the last day of 2014, and tonight we get the chance to start fresh once more. Last New Year's eve I wrote a letter to myself listing all of the things I wanted to accomplish throughout the year of 2014, and tonight I get to open it to see the things that I have accomplished (I don't really remember what I wrote, so I hope its good hahah!) I encourage you to do it too ! It definitely motivated me and it truly is more realistic once you have it envisioned and written down (especially on cute stationary paper ;)  OH ! and I hope you all had a great Christmas together with your families, and that you received everything your little hearts desired, I know I did! :)

Ok, so this little casual number is perfect for day/night..You could dress it up how I did with some booties or strappy heels or with some flats or sandals as well. I am OBSESSED with these peep-toe booties; I am so happy I found them, not to mention they are on sale right now! I felt that they went great with these leather leggings that my mom got for me (she has great taste lol). I decided to wear them with a blue blouse and this tassel necklace I've been loving lately. Ok...BUT the real spotlight is on my new Kate Spade bag that I received for Christmas! I literally squealed when I saw it..I was so excited !!!!! The leather is so soft and I love that it's also a cross-body, total plus in my book ! :) She's my new favorite...you'll be seeing her in my future posts, so stay tuned!

Christmas Time Is Near...

Wednesday, December 24, 2014

Hi !
Here's another little holiday look that is right up my alley. If you haven'y noticed by now, I ADORE jumpsuits/rompers. LOL :) This one stood out to me because of the gorgeous burgundy color. I'm definitely will be wearing this or another outfit that I am still on the hunt for (I'll share on my instagram once I get everything! ;) Can you believe that it's already Christmas Eve today?! It's crazy how quickly time just passes us by. It just makes me anticipate all the family get togethers and the food..and most importantly the start of a new year. A chance for all of us to start over fresh! Do you guys have any resolutions yet? ..I have a couple that I really want to stick to haha (: Anyways, I decided to pair this jumpsuit with some nude pumps (I had some black peep-toe booties on, but they didn't really convince me!) and finished it with this super cute tassel necklace I purchased last week!

The signs are everywhere.....

Tuesday, December 16, 2014

During this time, I always like to look back and reflect on what I have accomplished so far this year. And to be honest....I am just getting started. I feel more inspired then ever by everything and everyone that I've crossed paths with. To starting this blog, to meeting so many great people because of it. To new friendships, to old ones resurfacing, to new opportunities that have opened my eyes to a new perspective. This has only taught me to keep going, to never stop chasing your dreams and what you want because they're as real as you make them to be. If you believe, then others will believe in you too. You have to learn to trust yourself and the process that you're going through. I'm a person that does not really believe in coincidences; I feel that everything truly does happen for a reason. But the beauty of that is that you have the power to write your story, and to choose the path that you're meant for.

There are signs almost everywhere that you go....especially in these photos that I shot in Wynwood. I feel that there is so much positive energy and so much talent walking the streets that you cannot help but be inspired...and that's exactly how I felt,,haha :) I decided on this bold tribal crop top and this flowy maxi skirt which I LOVE ! I paired it with my new gladiator sandals which I think gave the whole outfit some edge.

DVF: "The Woman I Wanted To Be"

Friday, December 12, 2014

Hello everyone, and happy Friday!!!! :)
I wanted to share my recent experience; if you follow my instagram (@estephanie_820) then you know that last week I had the chance to meet the one and only Diane von Furstenberg at her new DVF store at Aventura mall! I must say it was amazing to meet her; she truly is an amazing person inside and out.

When I first arrived, I was surprised at not seeing so many people. I honestly thought there would be a line outside of the store, but that wasn't the case at all. I was pleasantly surprised because I am not a fan of waiting LOL. You were able to purchase her book right there at the store, which was nice. OMG! and the store is an absolute dream; it had a museum vibe, especially how they have all of the clothes and accessories displayed. I especially liked the center display with all of her newest collection...and her iconic wrap dresses of course! If you haven't already, you must stop by and check it out ! :) Anyways, she arrived pretty quickly with her glam squad, and was super casual when she walked in haha. I'd say it took about a good 20-30 minutes until you arrived at the front of the line to meet her. Everyone that was there had the chance to get their book signed and take a photo with her ! :) I thought that made it so special and I really appreciated that. I have been to some signings that you barely get to shake the persons hand, let alone take a picture with them!!!! All in all, it was a truly memorable experience. :)

A peak at the Christmas decorations at Aventura mall, they never disappoint. LOL

Holiday Glam: Olive Romper

Monday, December 8, 2014

WHAT I'M WEARING
-----------------------------
Romper - Alfaro Vogue
Heels - Payless (same style here and LOVE these)
Clutch - MNG by Mango (similar here)
Necklace - Forever 21 (identical one here)
Hand Bracelet - Forever 21

Happy Monday!
So the Holidays are just around the corner! The best time to dress up and really get into the Christmas spirit. I was/am so happy that I finally found a olive green romper. I had been searching high and low for one, especially in this color. You know when you eat your favorite food and you kinda hear the hallelujah chorus in the background...well that's how I felt when I found it, LOL. Not to mention, it has a flattering cut, lightweight, and it's comfortable. I definitely see myself wearing this as the holidays approach. I also found it to be very versatile; I see myself wearing it with some gold glitter flats as well (maybe i already did ;) haha..

I'll be doing some more holidays looks soon.
I hope this inspired you in some way. :)

'til next time!
