Once Upon A Dream...Spring Pastels

Thursday, March 12, 2015

So these past couple of days/weeks have been really special and eye-opening for me. I've been doing some serious reflecting and just trying to take everything day by day on where I eventually want to be in life and what I want to do; and quite frankly, I honestly still have no idea. The Leo in me just wants to take a leap of faith, find another job, start blogging full time and wait for a miracle to happen. I am someone that cannot just settle with what I am doing now, I'm always thinking, "ok now what"?...but sometimes those thoughts seem to be on impulse, in the moment, when I'm constantly over thinking or over analyzing things. I sometimes even compare myself to others (when I know I shouldn't). I feel that no mater how hard I try, it's inevitable sometimes.  However, we are all one-in-a-million, and have various ways of expressing ourselves and how we do things, and timing is definitely different for everyone (REMEMBER that!). For instance, I have this thing I do...I BLOG!; and ever since I started, I feel like my style has evolved though out this whole "journey" (or whatever this is lol) and even more as a person. It makes me feel whole, and I get so excited when I find things to share with you guys on here. It felt strange writing that, but it's true.

Also, trusting your gut and instinct could do you no wrong. What I am trying to say is that by doing what you love and what you believe in could present you with great opportunities. I am so thankful that this blog has led me to meet so many inspiring bloggers and even some I could now call genuinely good friends. I know I'm not the only one that is still trying to pursue their dreams and make their mark in this world; I could only just continue doing what I think is right and eventually the dots will connect...

These photos bring me so much happiness when I see them because they really capture the essence of who I am....and maybe even you as well...ambitious, gentle, go-getter, femininity... engulfed in this crazy ride we call life (well, in this case, somewhere "deep inside" a forest..LOL!)

I went for a soft and feminine look for this outfit. I love this pleated maxi skirt, especially in this blush color. The best part is that it is really light-weight and it is a great length that doesn't drag on the floor (which I love because I dislike that!). I paired it with this crochet cropped top, which is one of my favorites. Blush and white truly go great together; I also kept it simple with just statement necklace and a watch...

CHEERS, its almost FRIDAY!!!
