LILLY DRESS

Monday, April 27, 2015

Hi! Thanks for stopping by today :) So this has to be one of the most amazing maxi dresses that I own. I was so happy that I was able to snag it ! Funny story, I actually traded a pink Lilly shift dress for this one ! I am so happy that I did; this is exactly my style. So I styled this dress pretty simple since the print of this dress is already the life of the party ;) I went with a light denim jacket that I think looks great with this type of floral print. The jacket really gives it a more casual vibe and tones it down a bit. The best part about it is how luxurious it feels and the length; seems a little long, but I love it, hence why I paired with with some flat sandals. But this dress could definitely be worn with some cute wedges as well, like these! I also like the elastic waist band, it really compliments your shape and waist and it is very flattering; I really appreciate that since some maxi dresses just make you look shapeless and flat overall.

I only wish the dress was still available for you guys :( So sad it isnt...I linked two that I think are worth looking at. Check them out at the end of the post.
Wishing you all a great week !!!

Hi :)
So I am really loving the fact that these days have been flying on by...it's already Wednesday! I am already looking forward to the weekend; Do you guys feel the same? These couple of days have been so tiring! I'm sure it was because I barely had any sleep Satuday night + Sunday morning; all due to the craziness of the Lilly Pulitzer collection at Target! Were you guys able to purchase anything? Let me tell you that it was some sort of a organized chaos you could say. I arrived around 7:15 a.m. and there was already a handful of people at the door. Needless to say by 8am, there was a significant amount of people. When those doors open, it was literally "every man for himself"; you see people scrambling and running toward the clothes, accessories, and diving into the home decor. I rather enjoyed it, and found it amusing LOL. I purchased a couple of things that I will be sharing soon once I receive it all !

Wow, I was completely off topic...but anyways, let's talk about this romper. First, let me tell you how I stumbled upon it. I was in the mall shopping (tell me something new, right?! lol) and I was just about to leave until I saw this romper on a store mannequin. I swear, I felt like it was talking to me and telling me to come inside (so I did!). Have you guys seen the movie "Confessions of a shopaholic".? And how the mannequins were talking to Rebecca Bloomwood..? It was JUST like that. LOL ;), I totally fell in love with it. I was even more happy with the way it fit me; it's really flattering on. My favorite part about it would have to be the crochet detailing on the back; it gives it so much character; and of course, I had to pair it with my favorite gladiator sandals. I always get compliments on these and they go with just about everything! I also completed the look with my black floppy hat, which was great because it was scorching hot outside this day!

Ok, I'm done haha ;) thank you so much for reading! The outfit details are at the end of the post! Also let me know if you were able to purchase something from the Lilly + Target line! I would love to know what you got! <3

"Miss Estephanie" turns one!

Tuesday, April 14, 2015

Hello !
So today is a special day for me because my blog turns one year old today ! :) It is so crazy to think that I started to blog again exactly one year ago, because to me, it doesn't even seem that I started ONE year ago! I remember thinking to myself to just go for it; I had thought about it for so long, but at the time, I was still in school with a full time job, so I felt like I didn't have the time for it. But after I finished school (for now...) I felt like the timing was right...so I just did it ! And here I am one year later; still feeling the same inspiration and drive from day one. I want you to know (yeah, YOU) that I am thankful every single day for you taking the time out of your day to come and read my blog; it truly makes me happy and honestly, it's what keeps me going :) I have met some great people because of it and I cannot imagine myself not continuing this blog....

On another note, if there's anything that I like to point out from starting this blog...it would have to be to stay TRUE to yourself. Omg! I know...so corny and cliche, but it is the truest advice I could give. Share what you believe in, and put your effort into it. It will definitely be worth it in the end.

Another thing would have to be to always stay humble. Humility is something so small that could really make all the difference. It doesn't matter what path life takes you, whether it's in your career, school, or "blogging", humility is always appreciated and does not go unnoticed.

Lastly, I would have to say I have learned to not compare myself to others. I am sure almost everyone goes through this a couple times in their life. In my case, it's not always about how many "followers" you could acquire, how often you post or if you have the latest Nordstrom arrivals; It's honestly about the quality of your content. At the end of the day, everyone has a different path that they begin to carve, and it'll only progress as we grow.

So I wanted this outfit to be girly and simple, just like me ;) I stayed within the neutral color palette with light pinks and grays. I am loving this slighted pleated skater skirt; it definitely makes me want to keep twirling the whole time LOL.

FLORALS IN SPRING.....? GROUNDBREAKING!

Wednesday, April 8, 2015

Hi there! :)
So what did you guys do this past weekend for Easter?! Anything exciting? :) Well on Saturday I went to go see Furious 7. It was such a great movie; I won't lie, I cried towards the end when they did a short tribute to Paul Walker, it was so touching :\ Also, on Sunday, I went to go see Disney on Ice ! (Yes, be very jealous LOL!) . I know it's pretty random, but I think that you are never to old for anything Disney, it was awesome. So today I bring you a casual outfit that I shot last week.
There's nothing I love more then florals for Spring...I sound like a broken record, right? I feel like I have written that so many times haha...but it is true, and this floral kimono is no exception. Hence, the title of this post, I don't know if you guys caught "The Devil Wears Prada" reference. If you have seen the movie, you know exactly what I am talking about. ;) ..Anyways I decided to pair this colorful kimono with the basics to really make it stand out. I went with a white tank, some black denim and my new favorite nude flats. Of course, I had to add in my favorite little red bag. You could definitely wear this kimono with shorts and maybe some gladiator sandals too!

As always, thank you so much for taking time out of your day
to come and read my little ol' blog :)
I appreciate it. <3

EASTER: blogger style

Wednesday, April 1, 2015

Hi there ! Happy Wednesday and 1st day of April !
Since Easter is around the corner (it's this Sunday!), today I bring you some Easter inspiration. So when I think of Easter, I instantly think of chocolate, chocolate, and more CHOCOLATE. (I'm kidding...actually nah I'm not lolll). What also comes to mind is light pastels, the Easter bunny ;), and a cute spring outfit. Easter is one of those Holidays that it is so great to spend time with loved ones, get creative, and/or just reflect on your faith. As well as, being thankful everyday and to just celebrate! ;) Anyways...I was so excited (and still am) that I was able to team up with one of my favorite bloggers, and really good friend, Jannely from the fashion buffet to complete this Spring time look. I really like how we both coordinated with the tulle skirts ( I am obsessed !) and contrasted with the shoes. We also shot these at the cutest little farmer's market in Homestead called, "Robert is Here" . It is filled with fresh flowers and produce, and the most delicious variety of milkshakes. It is definitely a place to visit on the weekend!

What are your plans for Easter?! Let me know below :)

My favorite combination: girly and fabulous. I am so fond of this tulle skirt, I love its perfect length and how you could wear it high-waisted! :)

So cute right?! Make sure to check out Jannely's blog, The Fashion Buffet, for her take on Easter and her outfit ! You'll love it ! She is wearing one of the newest skirts from the Cinderella collection by Lauren Conrad via Kohl's !
