We are finally in full force in the Summer time! I feel like its been a long while since I wrote in the blog, but it's only been a few short weeks. It feels so good to blog again and being able to take blog photos, and honestly, trying to find the inspiration again. This pandemic has gotten even worse in these couple weeks here in Florida. It has made me not want to plan anything, let alone get all dressed up to take photos. So I am slowly trying to just find whats speaking to me lately :) I'm not sure if its the fact that I wont be able to travel for a little while or still tryin to settle in our "new normal" these days, but I just have not wanted to do anything these days but watch shows on netflix. I 've been beating myself about it because I tell myself that I always have to be productive in one way or another; and since I haven't, its been getting me down. But, as of recenly, I have told myself that it's ok to not feel inspired all the time, its ok to just have a lazy week at home, its ok to not want to cook all the time, its ok to just BE. I can be the only one feeling like this, but just know that this too shall pass. It's just going to take more time.
So this passed weekend, my mom came over for a little while and she helped me take these photos downstairs from my apartment. It's always nice when she could help me and also spend some time together through everything thats happening. Anyways, I love this little white dress. It's my favorite piece from the LoveShackFancy x Target collection. I knew I had to have it when I first saw it online. What first drew me to it is the length. It's a very flattering length and I love the way it looks on me! I don't really own any white dresses, so I was happy to add this one to my closet. However, it does have many reviews saying that its pretty short. I would have to agree but I really don't mind. You could wear shorts under it and it'll be fine. I tried size Medium and Large, and I decided to stay with the medium because the top part wasn't as big on me.
It's lightweight, has these beautiful ruffle details in the shoulders, its smocked in the middle so its super comfortable and its versatile! This one could be dressed up with heels, flat sandals, and a pair of sneakers as well.
