If there's one thing I love about Fall fashion, it would have to be incorporating textures. Especially ones that aren't so ideal in a warmer climate. I've really been into the velvet "trend" these days, but incorporating it in a more subtle way. I know you guys have seen those over-the-top all velvet jumpsuits or velvet from head to toe looks; I think those are a little bit of an over kill if you ask me. But hey, there's plenty of people that know how to rock them! For me, its all in moderation, which is why I really enjoyed wearing this burgundy velvet top. It's a color that goes great with blue dark wash denim and even better with black denim, which is how I wore it here! I love that its not too fussy or loud and that you could wear this outfit from day to night with no problem. We took these photos around the "golden hour" which is around 5-6p when the sun is setting just because of that notion, that it'll look good no matter what time of the day your wearing it! Also wore these gray suede booties which I love because of the low block heel, which makes them really comfy. You'll probably see this top again sometime soon...because I already have some other ideas on how to wear it...which does include shorts ;) So what do you think? do you like wearing velvet?? or is it just over-rated? lol

-the Halloween section at Target
-listening to disney themed halloween music
-watching classic halloweeny movies: Halloweentown, Tower of Terror, Don't look under the bed, Underwraps, Double Double toil and trouble, Jeepers Creepers(my fav!), Sleepy Hollow, The Addams Family, Beetlejuice, Casper, Saw, The Haunted Mansion, Hocus Pocus(duh).
I know there's so many more movies...I'll add them here once I remember them ;)
