Happy Wednesday everyone...or happy thanksgiving-eve here in the states lol. I know most of us are getting ready to celebrate the holidays, so I wanted to share this super easy look to recreate for this special time of the year.
When it comes to the holidays, I love getting all fancy and dressed up, but the truth is...I prefer a casual, non-fussy outfit more to the "fancier getup". This is why I love this outfit. This top is perfect for this time of the year. It has such an adorable ruffle trim all around the top and a peek of some "off the shoulder" action. This top is definitely a bit deceiving on the hanger, but once you try it on, you will fall in love; that is exactly what happened to me. And if you live in colder climates, you could easily layer this top with a long sleeve underneath and it'll instantly look put together and chic. I paired it with these new express jeans that I am totally obsessed with. I've seen them on a couple bloggers that I follow, so I finally gave in and got a pair! They are usually $88 I believe but I got them on sale for $40! They are true to size as I went with my usual size 10. They are so stretchy and comfy, and really suck you in! I also love the distressed hem at the bottom and the dark wash! What is also great about this outfit is that you could wear it with flats and heels! I know I'll wear this outfit again with these super cute booties, but I always have a pair of flats in my bag as well. lol :)
