I wore this little number this passed weekend for a brunch that I attended at the Local House with some amazing blogger friends, and I received so many compliments. I was pretty surprised actually, because it is something so simple to do. I got the inspiration from Color me Courtney, she wore a similar outfit where she layered a black tank over a white button down ...and I'm like, .."ohhh I want to try that"...so I did! So this particular white button down is from the Victoria Beckham for Target collection. I'll admit, I purchase this shirt and it sat in my closet for a couple of months, untouched. I was convinced I needed a white button down bc its a closet staple and I did not have one. I loved this one because the material is SO nice. Well this past weekend was the first time I actually wore it. LOL. I layered a black tank top over it, which this is a basic black tank, I just folded it upward to make it look like a crop top ;) . I really like how this turned out, espcially with the big sleeves. Its definitely something out of my comfort zone, but its usually when the best outfits happen!

I pair these two with some black shorts. Mine have a scalloped edge on the bottom but any black shorts will work just great. And of course, I threw some leopard in here! Wore my fav booties ever; I could walk milesss in these, so comfy! If I didn't have these already, I would definitely grab these from Target; I adore the leopard print on them!

Thanks for reading ;)
love you.

Wanted to include a picture of what I had that day. It was my first time there, and I felt adventurous. lol This is their crab-cake benedict with a side of "fries" (potatoes). DELICIOUS! Check out the menu/restaurant if you're in Miami here
