I always appreciate pieces in your closet that you could wear and style multiple ways. That's usually my first thought before I purchase something: Can I re-wear this item in more than one way..? If I can't, I usually don't purchase it or save the item in my cart and see if I'm still thinking about it later. lol. So last weekend, I went to the mall and was browsing around and I came across this yellow/gold chiffon cover up! I've really been into this color lately. It makes me happy when I wear it and it overall looks great with other bright colors. Now this piece was marketed as a swim cover-up, but I instantly thought about a ton of ways you could wear it and really put it into use. :) I'm showing you two today...and I may film a quick video and show the other ways you could wear this out! :) Anyways, its a yellow sheer maxi cover up dress and it has two slits on each side and I really love the 3/4 sleeves because it could still shield you from the sun, as well as, not feel so stuffy when its warm outside.
So here are two ways that are super easy to style because you probably already own the rest in your closet! :)
1. As a beach cover-up!
I adore how this looks as a swim cover up. Although it is sheer, it still gives you the feeling of still being dressed up after any water activities. This cover up buttons all the way down, but I just fastened the first button to accentuate the collar and thats it! :) You could easily pair it here with a skirt, shorts or some jeans if you are going somewhere after! :) I love this way the most. I also added a floral print headband and also wearing my favorite sunglasses that I have been over-sharing lately. lol :)
2. As a Duster Jacket!
This day was pretty hot, and I wanted to wear anything BUT jeans or anything having to do with pants lol. I decided on a black bodysuit and a pair of white shorts that I totally forgot that I had but glad I re-discovered ;) I then threw on a belt around the duster to add a little something extra, as opposed to just leaving it opened. :)
