CELEBRATING IN POLKA DOTS...IM THIRTY TODAY !!

My birthday is today, and I'm thirty years old! Whoa, where did the time go seriously. When I was younger, I thought by this age, I'd be set, in a house of my own, with my dream job and a PH.d in something"important". Boy was I wrong, and you know what, that's ok. I'm 30 years old and I'm still trying to figure out my true purpose, and what's coming up next in my path. I'm learning to be still and not stress over the little things that won't matter tomorrow. I've learned the hard way to not let others have control over my emotions or depend on someone to be happy. I've learned to really smell the roses. There's no greater power than giving yourself the gift of happiness. Yes, it's nice to share my life with someone else, but in the end, what's really important is the day by day steps you take to make yourself a better person. I have a good feeling about the next 5-10 years and I hope that along that road that I keep discovering the best version of me. :)

This outfit is me in a nutshell. I saw it online and I said.."That is my birthday outfit". (: I love a good jumpsuit and this one is an absolute dream. I adore the sweetheart neckline, the wide bell bottoms and the organza polka dot long sleeve. I'm not usually a fan of the "one sleeved" anything because sometimes I am so self-conscious about my arms..but I honestly didn't care afterwards when I shot these photos. I love how these came out. I had this grand vision for my 30th birthday photos, but after COVID, I just didn't stress out about it anymore and my mom helped me take these. My mom is the best; always so helpful and supportive :) love you mom!

I got this jumpsuit on sale at NastyGal for about $40! I was so surprised because I am not sure what drew me to shop there. I usually never shop there, but they've been having great sales lately..and this jumpsuit was included! I paired it with my favorite heart sunglasses and earrings :) This suit is such a show stopper; I hope to actually wear it out one day soon!
