THE BERRY FARMS: BEST SUNFLOWER FIELDS AND PUMPKIN PATCH IN SOUTH FLORIDA 2020

Wednesday, September 30, 2020

I had the pleasure of visiting the newly renovated Berry Farms in homestead this passed Monday (They were formerly known as burr's berry farm before.) If you're looking for a super kid-friendly place to pass the time and take cute photos, then you will really enjoy this place! My mom and I go almost every year because they truly have something for everyone. We had such a nice time and can't wait to go again! It is completely different then their previous location. This location is complete with a shopping market, where you can purchase fresh produce and custom merch. They also have a new section where you can purchase food. The menu includes burgers, fries, salads...ohhh, and avocado toast ;) I tried their burger and it was really good, but what really impressed me was their icecream! I had a belgium waffle topped with icecream, nutella and whipped cream. It was delicious! I would drive back just to have that again lol.

This year they also have a few new acitvities which include a jumping trampoline, a bigger section where kids can play and an upgraded corn maze! However, the reason that everyone goes around the Fall season is to see their adorable pumpkin patch AND the sunflower fields! This time around the fields are even bigger! I believe they will be in full bloom come next month. There was a still a section where the sunflowers have not grown yet!

Also they still have a few sections that are not opened yet, which will make it better the next time around that we visit :)

Overall we had a great time, and we will definitely be back next month in October.

Belgium Waffle: topped with nutella, whipped cream and vanilla icecream!
$6! Delicious!

This is their fresh produce section that is available to purchase.
You could also purchase the sunflowers here and pumpkins!
Sunflowers are $1 each.

**Some tips to plan your visit**

-Try to plan your visit around October!

That is when the Sunflower fields are really in bloom!

-Wear comfortable closed shoes! Although the majority of the property is gravel/rocky, theres some parts that get muddy, so its better to be prepared!
