With the holidays in full swing, I like to keep outfits simple but classic. I love dressing up and wearing pieces that are festive for the holidays, but at the end of the day, I am all about comfort. There's nothing I loathe more than a tight top, or uncomfortable shoes...by the end of the night, they are either un-buttoned or off! lol.
I completely fell in love when I saw this top on @byohlola ! She has amazing style and always wearing the most feminine and beautiful pieces. I ordered it right away! This top is from Zara and its only $25.90 . The sleeves are to die for. They are a light weight crepe material that is NOT itchy at all and so flattering! the actual material of the top is ribbed and super stretchy. The same ribbed material is also on the wrists...so cute! It does run true to size. The only "con" I would have about this top is that its pretty short! Meaning you cannot tuck it in, especially if you're wearing midrise pants/jeans. To get the "tucked in" effect you would definitely need to wear something that is ultra high-waisted! Other than that, it is so pretty and a great price point. I love a good statement sleeve any day, but especially for the holidays :)
Here I wore it with a pair of gray high-waisted denim. I love this wash bc it's a color I don't usually wear, so the change is nice! So here I opted for a more casual look with flat over-the-knee boots. Comfortable & Chic. But this top will look so good with a pair of ankle booties, pumps, combat boots, etc. The possibilities are endless. I also wore two hats lol. In some photos I'm wearing a beret and other I have on a wide brim hat. The beret reminds me of Paris...and of Emily in Paris ;)
