BLACK LACE DRESS

Wednesday, April 5, 2017

To me, wearing black is timeless, instantly gives you a boost of confidence & let's be real, its just easy to wear. lol. I'm one that usually gravitates toward color, but once in a while I like toning it down, so to speak.
For instance, this isn't just an ordinary black dress, what really drew me toward it were the mesh bell-sleeves with the lace details..it is so beautiful in person and I knew I had to get it once I saw it. This dress also comes in white..which I'm still contemplating about getting because it looks like a completely different dress, but it really isn't ! Also any off the shoulder action is a bonus for me because it makes the outfit much more feminine and eye-catching; Also the OTS in this dress doesn't "ride up" once you're moving around or lift up your arms...I hate when that happens..but the elastic that this dress has makes it stay put and doesn't move...LOVE that !  Also another great aspect about wearing black is that it leaves you with tons of options on how to accessorize ! Here, I wore my "at the moment" favorite lace up sandals. There are such great quality and are only $29! I love the fun pom-poms & the detail of the straps...I've seen so many sandals similar to these that go for almost $200-$300! (um, no thx!). So I loved that these were at a very affordable price point :) I also decided to whip out this neon yellow bag that I barely wear honestly...but I thought it went nicely with this outfit and it makes a nice contrast with my sunglasses here too ;) I love the versatility of this dress & know that it'll look fab in just about every season its worn.

Thanks for stopping by today!
