HAPPY 27TH BDAY TO ME!

Sunday, August 20, 2017

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope your weekend has been amazing :) I know I usually don't post on the weekend, but today is special because it's my 27th birthday ! This whole weekend has been so exciting and full of happiness..
I'll share what I did later on this week, but I'm sure you saw on my social media if you follow me. Anyways, it's just crazy to me to think that time passes by so quickly and before I know it...I'll be hitting 30...Geezusss Christ lol. I've come to know and learn that with age, it only gets better. Although you have to take care of yourself a little bit more each year, I don't feel any different. I'm still the same old Estephanie. Some people don't even believe my age, which is a good thing I guess; they always think I'm wayyy younger than I am, which doesn't bother me at all. ;) But on a more serious note, I'm so thankful to have come this far in lighting my 27th birthday candle. I have so much to be thankful for because I know damn well I live a great life. I have an amazing support system, my bf, my family, my friends (that are basically family too), and of course all of YOU! Thanks for taking the time to come and hang out on here. I never get tired of writing it but it truly means the world to me. It feels really good to do something I love and have you guys love it too :)

As far as my outfit, if you didn't already notice; I was TOTALLY going for "Carrie Bradshaw" vibes for this outfit. One of my favorite and most iconic looks SJP has done in my eyes is when she wore that amazing full purple Zac Posen skirt with a simple Christian Dior tee in Sex and the City 2. I thought she looked like a complete Princess. I tried to channel her via this outfit with the same teeshirt she wore and wearing my favorite floral skirt. I've styled it before but I felt that I had to wear it again. I kept it simple (as always) and wore my favorite bow sandals. What do you think? Did I pull it off? LOL. It also made me think about the fact that dressing up elegant on a daily basis isn't as common anymore like back then. I couldn't help but wonder, what has happened to the glamour? The full skirts, the fabulous hats, the statement coats..? I sometimes feel like I was born in the wrong era. lol.

Dior Tee: Etsy
Skirt: JcPenney (came in a set) / similar here and here

Cheers to the next twenty-seven years!
