I am all about incorporating color in some way and in today's post...that's exactly what I'm going to show! I don't own too many blazers or suits so I am happy to say that I found this my mom's closet! I fell in love with the color and instantly knew how I wanted to style it...and the best part? It didn't cost me anything lol..thanks Mom ;) Also, with such a bold and statement color blazer, I wanted a bold contrast to complement the suit; I picked up these plaid sock boots at Target and knew that it would look great with the blue color. Black and white plaid is a pretty neutral color palette, so don't be afraid to wear it with bright and bold colors; just because its Fall doesn't mean you have to stick to dark or warmer tones...color is always in. I particularly liked these shoes because of the low kitten heel. Although, I am not one to gravitate toward such a low heel..these days, your girl cannot handle to walk in heels if the heel isn't a block heel more stilettos for me LOL. Another aspect out of my comfort zone is the loud and bold plaid print. I tend to stick to shoes that are neutral or solid, but I really loved these because of their versatility and because they will pair well with other outfits I have in mind. As for the rest of the outfit, I decided to keep all monochrome in black, since the blazer and the shoe are the center of attention. This cami is one of my fav buys from the Nordstrom sale, I've been wearing it a ton! As well as these black distressed shorts I found at Marshalls a couple months ago...they have been my go to!

If you aren't fond of shorts or just don't like them, this look can easily be worn with a pair of black denim as well. I actually tried it on with jeans too but I preferred the shorts with the boots instead.

Are you "suiting" this Fall..? Let me know below. ;)
