TRIPLE THE BOWS FOR FALL!

The weather in Miami has finally been winding down and blessing us with cooler temperatures! This passed weekend was awesome as I was able to pull off wearing a couple of long sleeve tops and sweaters here and there; with that being said, I am so excited to share this look with you! It is so out of my comfort zone (as far as the structured style) but I fell in love with the way that Blair from Atlantic Pacific styled this top with a frilly pink tulle skirt. And I thought..."hey, I think I could pull off wearing that top too". :) It just launched with Blair's new collaboration with the brand Halogen from Nordstrom. Sadly, this top was one of the first pieces to sell out and I can see why, its amazing! It really embodies Blair perfectly and I knew I just had to add it to my wardrobe.

This type of top is a modest length, which is good because it can be worn tucked in (my fav way) or out! What really sold me on this top are the thee pink velvet bows that it has in the front. I love how its both girly but bold at the same time. I was kind of surprised at first at how much I loved it because it reminds me of a peasant top with the subtle pleats in the front, however, the velvet bows and the pearl buttons really balance that aspect out and made it much more wearable. I am so so impressed with the quality and how it was made! I cant wait to wear it again :)

I paired it here with my current favorite jeans at the moment from Target. They are super flattering on AND they are high-waisted with some distressing. These are a great pair to have in your closet for a budget. I believe they were only around $20! I 've been wearing them almost everyday. I also wore my bow heels because I thought it was suitable with the top ;)

I saw Blair pair this top with the heart shaped sunglasses, so I happy that I had a pair too. I almost wore the white pair, but I think the black version paired a little more nicely with the pink.

I finished it with a hot pink lipstick which added a nice contrast with the baby pink color of the top. This is my favorite shade from Kylie Cosmetics...it was from her Valentine's day collection. I'll link a very similar color from a different brand below!
