Hi Happy Wednesday and Happy Mean Girls day! And it just so happens to fall on a Wednesday and I totally forgot to wear pink today :( lol
So I finally received the Something Navy flannel top that I ordered from her newest collection. I am honestly so happy with it. I love the gray color and the exaggerated sleeve, as well as the buttoned cuff detail on it too! It is a bit large on me but I'll make it work, especially since this top is sadly sold out :( But don't worry I will link similar tops below!

I wanted to showcase it two different ways to wear the top. I knew instantly I wanted to wear it with my Wild Fable black jeans and over the knee boots, but I also wanted to show that it's suitable to wear these types of tops with shorts too. Also, since both outfits are pretty versatile, its easy to dress them up or down by the type of shoe you wear. I wish I could wear the over the knee boots more often, but its just too warm for them around here lol.
For look number one, I decided to wear the top with my favorite "at-the-moment" black high-waisted jeans! These are the ones that I have been raving about that I bought on major sale at Target! I wore a pair of over the knee black suede boots and thats it! Over-the-knee boots tend to make an outfit look more dressy without trying too hard and that's why I wish I could wear them more often! I also wore this lariat druzy necklace I got on clearance at Walmart for $3! I love it :)
Note: I wore this top with a knot at the front because it does fit a little oversized. I would totally wear it without the front knot with a pair of leggings!
Here I'm wearing my favorite pair of TopShop shorts! I love the distressed detail these shorts have in the front and how it elevates the look without it being too over the top. For look number two, I decided on my leopard bow mules that I love so much! Leopard is a neutral in my book, so I definitely love how it looks here :)
