HOLIDAY OUTFITS: "THE WINDOW PANE" PANT SUIT

Wednesday, November 21, 2018

Happy Wednesday! So since this week is the long Thanksgiving weekend, I thought to share some outfits that are more appropriate for this time of year! Matching sets have always been so popular but I thought I was never one to pull it off because I am not a fan of an outfit being all "matchy matchy" and two, I am not a huge fan of wearing slacks! I always try to experiment with my style over the years and this is definitely one of them.

I was instantly attracted to this blazer! Its super chic and dresses up any outfit if you just throw it on! This window-pane print is classic and toned down, which is why I really liked it. The term window-pane comes from the "squares" on this pattern that resemble somewhat of a window lol..so that's where that term comes from. This suit also reminded me once again of Blair or Atlantic Pacific, shes always sporting sets like these so I thought I'd give it a try!

I went with a classic white chiffon cami top to go with the blazer since the suit was already a statement in itself. I also found these amazing pointed toe ankle booties the other day! I really wanted a pair with a comfortable heel and a pointed toe because I usually go with the round toe! These were absolutely perfect and so comfortable (and on sale!)

I also decided to play around and add some fun accessories. I threw on a black beret hat ( I actually got this one in Paris when I went, so its SUPER special) and my over-sized heart sunglasses that I love. I also wore my statement initial necklace that has been holding up so good! It was only $15 on Amazon :) I also have another look coming up that I also used these same accessories! So it's nice to be able to use the same accessories for another outfit..so stay tuned for that next week!

Thanks for stopping by <3
