EASY BANANA BREAD RECIPE!

Wednesday, April 15, 2020

Hi! I shared this banana bread recipe on my instagram stories yesterday and wanted to archive it here on my blog! I thought it would be easier if you want to reference back, and I also wanted to share a little bit more details !

I found this recipe on Tik Tok! I follow Cooking With Shereen on there and she inspired me to try it out! It came out so good. :) So here's how to make it!

BANANA BREAD RECIPE

Ingredients you'll need:

- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

- 1 tsp baking soda

- 1/2 tsp salt

- 3/4 cups softened unsalted butter (not melted!)
3/4= 1.5 sticks of butter

- 1 cup of light brown sugar (packed!)

- 2 eggs

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 3 to 4 ripe bananas

*You could also add walnuts, pecans, chocolate chips.. w/e you want as well*

ALSO:
- a 9x5 loaf pan (I purchased mine at Publix for $5!)
- a mixer ( I used a portable hand mixer) - love this one!

Here are the brands I used just in case you needed a visual :)

Directions:

1. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt into a bowl. Whisk them to mix!
Set aside.

2. Take soften butter and the light brown sugar and mix them together til creamed / smooth consistency.

3. Add the two eggs. Mix until combined!

4. Next, add the vanilla extract. Mix. Then add the bananas. Keep mixing !

5. GRADUALLY (not all at once) add the dry mix until its combined and mixed well. Do this at low speed!

6. Grease 9x5 loaf pan

7. Into the oven for 350 degrees for 45-60 mins!

TIPS:
*I timed mine and checked on it around 50 mins. I put a knife in it and it came out a bit wet so I left it in for an additional 15 minutes! After that, it was pretty much done. However, please use your own judgement because I dont believe every oven heats the same lol.

*I let it cool for like an hour after I took it out the oven. I also put it in the fridge with aluminum foil.

*I looked it up and its supposed to taste fresh for about a week if left in the fridge. I doubt it though because its so good, you wont want to just leave it on the fridge ;)

And that's it!

Enjoy =]
