A DAY IN THE LIFE...

(What I wish the weather to be like lately)

The weather at home here in Miami has been so ugly lately and has been really tugging at my mood lately; especially updating the blog.
I don't want to post just for the sake of posting. There's enough content out there to make your head spin. So for today I thought I'd just give you a recap of my weekend that just passed. On weekends, I typically just relax at home, update the blog, go shopping (shocker!) or spend time with my boyfriend. We try to spend as much time together as we can because during the week, it is difficult. We both have conflicting schedules during the week; I work in the morning, and by the time I get off work, he's just starting out his day. We don't live together yet so you could imagine the frustrations sometimes...so we try to take the most advantage during the weekend. We both have birthdays this month so we're planning to do some fun activities (if this damn weather permits) leading up to our birthdays. We are going to a water park next week, and then we may go to sauna spa, which we go to all the time. Anything involving water is our happy place. lol. 

Anyways this passed weekend I went to visit my best friend up in Tavernier, FL; which is about one hour and half drive from me. I try and go every month to see her and my godson, Ethan. I'm sure you've seen all my photos of him on my instagram. He's the happiest baby ever, and I love getting to spend time with them as much as I can. Now that I think about it, I took for granted when we use to live 5 minutes away from each other lol. Oh well, I guess I just really appreciate the time more now. I love going up there, Tavernier is close to Key Largo so there's tons of things to do while your down there. We usually go out to eat and just catch up. This passed Saturday we went to the beach at this cute little area called Sunset point. I loved it! The water is shallow and it was a great and Sunny day to enjoy it. It's also next to a dock which is beside these amazing Summer houses. I should've taken more photos but I totally forgot to...I'll be sure to take some when I go back this month.
