Hi and welcome back! Here's a look that we shot a couple of weeks ago, but never got around to actually posting it...until now! This has to be one of my fav looks of the month...well, so far at least! If you've been with me for a while, I'm sure you've seen these scalloped shorts in other looks I've put together; and if not...I'll be showcasing those looks here too!
I love buying clothes, but I what I love more than buying clothes is knowing I could wear the piece I purchase more than once. Yes, I am guilty of purchasing a top or a dress and never wearing it again, or worse..I just forget that its in my closet! Anyways, I love coming up with different ways of wearing an item you buy over and over again...after all, you definitely get your money's worth! These shorts are one of those pieces that are very versatile and you are able to wear them year 'round...with the right accessories of course!

So for this look, I kept it simple and paired the shorts with this super comfy oversized sweater. This is a recent buy from Target, and I'm loving the chic pearl details all around the shoulder area. Little accents like the pearls really makes the look much more girly and special. I opted to wear my over-the-knee boots to give it a bit of an edge...as opposed to wearing with stilettos, which would've been a more feminine vibe. I enjoyed the contrast the boots gave the jumper (the sweater I meant...what am I, british now? LOL ) This look is simple enough to wear with sandels, flats, and even some flat combat boots...but I love the length that these otk boots give you!
