Happy Wednesday! It seems like the days go by even quicker with each new year...we are already in mid-February! Although it's still "Winter time" in other states, this time around is one of my favorites because we start to see fab Winter pieces transitioning into our Spring wardrobe. Overalls, chiffon tops, closed toed booties, are just a few that I could think of at the top of my head that are here to stay for the upcoming Spring time. So today's post is just that....some slight "Spring inspo"! This outfit can easily be worn in cold weather with a fabulous and warm coat or in my case, in much warmer weather, it still works!

Chiffon tops are at the top of my list of favorite pieces in my closet. They are chic, and easy to wear in whatever type of weather you're encountering. I adore this one because of the flowy and flirty draped details it has. It makes a "plain chiffon" top much more eye-catching and interesting. I've already worn it a couple of times with some leggings, and another time with my favorite distressed denim. Here I paired with some satin shorts that have a fun scalloped detail. These are 'so-in" for Spring; the scalloped edges are also a great detail for when you wear any solid colors. For instance, a plain black/white tee, strapless top, sheer blouse...you get the gist! I also love that these shorts in particular tie at the top, so the bow detail looks so cute with the top. These shorts are very versatile and could be worn with endless options. Check this post to see how I wore them there (super casual lol) .
Moving on...so if you notice, I decided to add tights with this outfit...omg, TOTALLY out of my comfort zone...I NEVER wear tights, like ever. I think the last time I wore tights was in highschool..and that was because I had a dance class and had to wear them lol. But, I am glad I chose to wear them because it definitely made this outfit much more special opposed to me not wearing any. I also wore them when I was in New York a couple weeks ago. It's definitely a mission to put on but they instantly make an outfit so sophisticated and dressy; I'm learning to like them; after all, nothing great/special comes from lingering in your comfort zone...right?
