TOO EARLY FOR V-DAY? NEVER! TRY MIXING RED WITH A STATEMENT PRINT!

This combination is definitely one of my ultimate favorites! I'm sure by now you all know my obsession with leopard print; if it was up to me, I'd wear it everyday! I honestly believe that leopard is a neutral and goes great with just about everything. I was feeling inspired this passed weekend to style some outfits pertaining to Valentine's day. I know its not for a couple of weeks, but I thought, the earlier, the better! I like planning ahead so I thought I'd share this look to give you all some inspiration on how to mix a statement print with a bold color. Whenever I think of leopard print, I almost always want to pair it with something red. Wether its a red top or red lip (in this case, I went with both lol) ...they are truly a match made in heaven.

I've had these shorts for a while but I hadn't featured them on the blog til now! I decided to go with this red chiffon top with bell sleeves. I had to get creative because to my surprise I do not own too many red tops! This top also has ruffle details in the bottom but I tucked it into the shorts, as well as, tied it in the back so it looks more fitting when I tied the shorts! Sometimes you have to get creative and you'll be surprised what you can come up with!

This look would be so fun for Valentine's Day (or any occasion really). If its a little chilly out, I would pair with black tights and also a coat. I'd even had a pair or ankle socks to these ankle booties for a cute girly detail. I also wore my favorite red lip, which is from Fenty beauty and the color is called "uncensored". It's a true red with blue undertones and it feels very comfortable on the lips and its easy to apply! When I rock a red lip..its always this one..so now you know ;) Oh! I also wore my heart shaped sunglasses to really get into the Vday spirit.
