Happy Friday everyone ! We made it once more & we're finally into the weekend! God knows I need to sleep in..I'm still feeling tired from all the excitement from last week! If you were following my foot steps (literally lol) last weekend, you'd know I was in New York attending a runway show; which was fabulous I might add, but geez..it was SO COLD! I've never been to NYC in the cold, so this was a totally new experience for me & I'm not sure if I'd go again during February lol...but nonetheless it was amazing!
Anyways, today I bring you a exciting "beauty" review! I am truly honored and excited to be partnering with Dove (& Dime media) to try out one of their new products: the Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant ! As much as I adore fashion, I'm a huge beauty/skin care lover! I've used Dove products in the past and have loved them & I've heard so many great things about this particular antiperspirant, so I was excited to give it a whirl! I tend to use "gel" antiperspirants so I was a bit skeptical about a roll-on bar one...but omg, I totally had to eat my words lol. It's truly been a lifesaver ever since I started using it, which was about two weeks ago. From rushing to work in Miami & running and almost slipping to catch my uber ride in New York during the brutal snow lol...I can say that the Dove Advanced care has kept me on check & protected. It has been leaving my under arm area soft ALL day and I love the plesant scents that they carry. I've been using the "caring coconut" scent!
I'm a person that doesn't "believe the hype" until I try it out for myself, and I'm so happy with the ongoing results it has given me. I'll let you in on something..I tend to sweat alot..more than the normal person if you ask me loll... but this baby has stayed true to their 48 hour odor and wetness protection promise.
First Impression:
- The packaging is sleek and easy to take with you everywhere. The first application was easy and didn't feel heavy while applying. I applied 2-3 times to my underarms and I was ready to go about my day.
During the day:
Still felt confortable and didn't feel the need to re-apply
(I do take anti-perspirant with me sometimes lol)
Final Thoughts (The GIST):
- It has left my skin smooth and soft
- I did not have to worry about re-applying at all
- No residue left on my clothes
- They have great variations of scents (coconut is my favorite!)
- Most importantly, it gave me confidence to go about my day
and not worry if I smelled funny lol
-Their Nutrium Moisture formula + moisturizers is what kept my underarms feeling smooth and soft...what's not to love?
- It's also under a great price point. Affordable & available at almost every drugstore out there.
-The packaging is pleasing and easy on the eyes + it looks pretty nice on your counter lol.
