SUMMER ESSENTIALS 2017

Happy Wednesday ! So I know we're still in May, but it has been definitely feeling like Summer lately. Memorial Day weekend is literally around the corner so I thought it would be appropriate to share some Summer essentials that you currently need, and also to share some of my most recent finds..

1. OFF THE SHOULDER TOPS

This may seem like a no brainer because easily everyone has at least one off the shoulder top in their closet; and with that, it should tell you that they are here to stay. They are very flattering on and can be easily transitioned from a day to night look!

2. (PRINTED) SHORTS

Other than always wearing jeans, you could also catch me wearing shorts almost everyday (on the weekend). To me, they're easy to wear and style at the same time. I love ones that have some texture like embroideries or a fun print like the ones above. These are great for Memorial day weekend and even 4th of July ! :)

3. STRIPED EVERYTHING

I've mentioned quite a bit before but I have a huge obsession with stripes, and that's exactly why I've included them. Stripes are an easy way to give your outfit some character, especially during the Summer. Whether it's a simple shirt, shorts or even a romper ;) You definitely need to include it somewhere in your Summer pieces this year!

4. STATEMENT SUNGLASSES

No outfit is complete without a good pair of statement sunglasses. Sunglasses are an accessory that can really elevate any look. If you've been with me here on the blog long enough, you'll notice I almost never take photos without a pair; this is because I love wearing them and most of the time it's way too sunny outside to not wear them. LOL.

4. BEAUTY PRODUCTS

I've been using these two products very frequently lately, so I thought I'd mention them. This dry shampoo is the BEST I've ever tried. It's great for 2nd day hair and third and fourth. LOL. I also love that it smells so good. It's a bit of a splurge BUT its totally worth it. Thank me later! 

This face primer has been a life saver. I have extremely oily skin and this primer has really helped control the oil that develops on my face during the day. It is extremely light weight meaning a little goes a long way. One pump is good for your entire face! I apply right after applying my Clinique moisturizer. This too is on the pricey side, but if you suffer from oily skin, it's awesome! It also comes in a travel size :)
